Cheap Bridesmaid Dress Ideas

Short bridesmaid dresses? Not in my day, but a new day is dawning. My daughter is getting married in the Spring on a Saturday morning at noon. She wants short bridesmaid dresses, a relatively new, but increasingly popular wedding trend. About $20 cheaper than traditional full-length bridesmaid gowns, a stampede of brides looking to save money in a shaky economy will force the designers back to their drawing boards. They want cheap and chic and they want it NOW.

I visited gojane, clicked on “formals,” and found very affordable formalwear that is available in a large variety of sizes and colors that can be used as inexpensive bridesmaid dresses. They have both short and long gowns, and at least for the time being, offer free shipping on orders of $50 or more. All gowns are made in the USA.

This dress is on sale for $52.99 and is available in 20 fashionable colors. (Tea length formal satin tube dress. Satin trim waistline embellished with delicate satin bow. Boned bodice. Hidden zip back. Shawl included.)

This dress is a sweetheart tea length formal and is on sale for $57.99. It is available in black, grape, lavendar, red and turquoise. (Tea-length formal dress with sweetheart neckline and boned bodice. Matching shawl included. Optional spaghetti straps included.)

This dress is adorable at only $50.99. It is available in black, eggplant (shown here), off white and red. (Gathered satin tank formal dress with bubble banded hemline. Gathered under bust with rhinestone ring decor brooch.)
