Kate Middleton was mind-blowingly beautiful in her lacy, long-sleeved, sweetheart-neckline gown with lace overlay and ivory silk tulle veil trimmed with hand-embroidered flowers. Sarah Burton obviously knows her way around a needle and thread. But I can’t help but think what if Spanish bridal designer Pepe Botella had made her gown instead? Unthinkable, of course, but sometimes I look at his remarkable ruffled dresses and wonder why any other designers even bother to get out of bed. He’s just that good.
