Fall themed wedding favors - especially assembled by hand - feel like small gifts that have been carefully and lovingly made. No plastic packaging, no flip flop theme. No more coasters or lollipops or key chains or coffee mugs. Something as simple as these charming pillow boxes with America's favorite chocolates (in beautiful fall colors) tucked inside. Colorful orange yarn or baker's twine looks inviting with a matching hand stamped tag. Here are some of my favorite DIY fall wedding favor ideas.
You don't need to buy the bees, hive and harvest
to assemble the sweet, lovely nectar of honey to make favors like these.
Popcorn wedding favors are an inexpensive thank you gift
The beauty of these colorful red cupcakes is that they are basically made from a store bought mix. Make as directed but substitute milk for the water. One tablespoon of cream cheese filling (whipped with 1/2 cup sugar, one egg, salt and one cup of mini white chocolate chips) added to the top of each cupcake with sink down into the batter to make a delicious creamy surprise.
So rich, so remarkable....leave the frosting for less decadent desserts.

A bachelorette party without frozen margaritas - is like a day at the beach without sunshine. These magnificent fruit margaritas will be well-loved, especially on a hot summer day. If you choose antioxidant rich fruits such as strawberries, blackberries, cranberries, peaches and pomegranates (which may be helpful in preventing breast cancer), you can tell everyone their good health and happiness is your main priority! Before your girls get in the door, you need to prepare your glasses like a pro. First, sprinkle a few tablespoons of coarse salt on a small serving plate. Wet the rims of the glasses with a wedge of lemon, lime or orange (my favorite). Turn the glass upside down and swirl it around on the bed of coarse salt. Make your fruit margaritas even more unforgettable garnished with thin, freshly sliced lemons or limes.
