Why choose an unconventional bouquet? Because your artistic talent and my left handedness, among many other fun facts, makes us so very unique. Grandma's bouquet of red roses feel about as fresh and original as a bunch of hand-me-downs from your big sister when you were thirteen. Times change and luckily so do we. I love the fragrance of freshly cut flowers, and garden roses are no exception, but traditional bouquets are wonderful today and wilted tomorrow. Here are some of my favorite unconventional bouquets.

What I love about these tea party centerpiece ideas is that vintage china teacups and teapots are downright cheap at thrift stores, church rummage sales and even on Etsy, where today I found an antique Victorian teapot, sugar and creamer set for only $22. The creamer had a fine hairline crack - hardly noticeable - and the sugar bowl was missing its lid. Three beautiful gold-rimmed china pieces with hand painted pink and burgundy flowers that would make three stunning tea party centerpieces for less than eight dollars each.
