Delicious Bridal Shower Meatballs

These delicious bridal shower meatballs can be made with ground round, ground turkey or a combination of both. Everyone will love the taste and convenience of these party meatballs filled with the flavors of finely chopped parsley, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoned bread crumbs. These easy-to-make meatballs are made from scratch, with a mouthwatering blend of barbeque sauce and fresh pineapple preserves. I also included a much quicker and no less delicious slow cooker meatball recipe below. Only three easy ingredients and you're done! Don't forget to include them at birthdays, bridal showers, church potlucks and family reunions.


  • 2 pounds ground round
  • 2 cups dry bread crumbs (I always use Italian Style)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 T finely chopped parsley
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 1/2 cup pineapple preserves
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a medium-size bowl, mix barbecue sauce and pineapple preserves together.
  3. In another bowl, combine meat, breadcrumbs, eggs, onions, salt, and parsley. Mix well and form into bite-size balls. Arrange the balls in a single layer in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour the barbecue sauce mixture evenly over the meatballs.
  4. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until the meat is cooked.
Slow Cooker Meatballs

 
  • 2 pounds of frozen meatballs (again, I prefer Italian)
  • 1 16 - 18 oz. jar of grape jelly
  • 1 12 oz. bottle of Heinz Chili Sauce
Spray your slow cooker with Pam non-stick cooking spray.  Stir grape jelly and chili sauce together in slow cooker until smooth and creamy.  Add frozen meatballs and cook 2 to 5 hours on low.
