Vintage Furniture Rental Ideas

Vintage furniture rental ideas - here are my favorites using painted vanity dressers and wooden chest of drawers.  It's a popular trend that is here to stay but if you're anxious to compare prices online you may be disappointed.  What can you expect to find?  French parlor chairs, antique sideboards, Victorian settees, English Oak washstands, weathered whiskey barrels, brass and crystal chandeliers, vintage globes, typewriters, suitcases and alarm clocks.  Here are some of the requirements you may find in search for the perfect vintage wedding furniture:
  • Browse online collections in your area, picking out specific pieces and styles and then get in touch by phone or email.  They will provide you with a quote including delivery, return and staging if required.  A 25 or 50% deposit may be required to reserve your pieces. The remaining amount will be due two weeks prior to the day of your wedding.
  • Most will work closely with your venue and event planner to organize delivery times and set up and may travel up to 100 mile radius (for an additional fee) outside the city where they are located.
  • Rentals periods vary from 24 hours up to three days.
  • It won't come as any surprise to you that the glass of Merlot accidentally spilled on the vintage pink velvet sofa will also be charged to your credit card ASAP.
  • There may be a $200 to $300 minimum rental policy on large furniture such as tables, chairs, sofas and settees.
  • Smaller pieces such as vintage china, goblets and glassware can be collected, staged and returned yourself.  Delivery service definitely will be required for furniture and larger items.
