These breathtaking fall wedding cakes - with tiny orange marzipan pumpkins, berries and crimson colored leaves are so comforting and now I know why. After a hot and humid summer (here in Virginia) when many of us fill up our tanks and hit the highway with our spirits high and were met with traffic, tolls and tourists at every turn, the pressure is now off to have the best vacation ever. The kids are back in school, the mosquitoes are packing up their bags (thank God), you can relax now. What about fall weddings? For every cake baker, florist and/or photographer who has been working around the clock every weekend April through June, fall weddings are much less stressful, more of a joy than a job.
