Easy Apple Cider Bar Recipe

Many thanks to Jen at Bakerette for this easy Crock Pot Apple Cider recipe that takes so little time and talent to prepare, yet will warm the hearts and souls of everyone in the cold months ahead. The perfect delicious hot drink for your fall or winter wedding reception, your only real expense is five or more gallons of apple cider and several slow cookers - bought or borrowed. You can also pierce your orange slices with whole cloves (pointed side in) for a more rustic look, and decrease the amount of brown sugar depending on your taste.

  • 1 gallon apple cider - any brand is fine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 orange sliced
  1. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker.  Stir until brown sugar is absorbed.
  2. Turn slow cooker on low and let the flavors blend together.  Apple cider should be hot enough to drink in less than two hours.
  3. Remove cloves and cinnamon sticks before serving.
